Doodling can now land you in prison

Thinking about drawing something creative? Forget about it or else you will get a "Go Directly to Jail" card.

Three days after Sandy Hook shooting, a 16-year old New Jersey Student was arrested for doodling. The doodle was glove holding a ball of fire like in Super Mario Bros what the faculty thinks it's a bomb, as if the student was planning to blow up the school.

Welcome to the police state.

You think TPP is worse check out what going on with the US-EU new Trade Deal

With ACTA still ratified by Japan, Australia up next to ratify it, and TPP is under negotiations until October 2013, a new trade deal that is going is expected next month that will include provisions from the TPP bring copyright maximum.

This trade agreement is called the Trans-Atlantic Free Trade Agreement.(TAFTA) to promote copyright maximalism to send consumers to prison. One single drawing from a child would hurt an entire family under TAFTA, for example a boy draws SpongeBob SquarePants his favorite cartoon character, but Viacom owns and trademarked that character, the entire family will be financially destroyed, and it can be proven with wireless surveillance cameras and microphones in homes transmitted to big media corporations, publishers, and other copyright holders. They could hear and see you singing a copyrighted lyric in the shower.

This trade agreement could hurt and shut down American based cheese companies like Kraft since European countries have a trademark on their cheese like Parmesan and Cheddar.

As for patents,  it will give patent trolls more rights to sue consumers and small businesses.

Dangers of Abolishing the filibuster

The US Senate is voting on changing or abolishing the filibuster. The dangers are if they vote for to change or abolish the filibuster, it will suppress not only the senate minority but the American public as well. For example, The Senate attempts to revive and pass PIPA and Commercial Felony Streaming Act (CFSA) or pass any other bills secretly without making a bill available to the public or without the Senate Minority complaining. If the GOP took control of the Senate, the Dems can't do anything because the filibuster they abolished was a mistake they made. They can't do anything except the President to stop a bill that would cut medical entitlements or try to get the Senate majority to pass a tax cut for the middle class.

In order to repeal the filibuster, 60 votes are to pass and there's no other way the Dems could convice the GOP to repeal it., If the Dems get their way, we're going to see civil unrest.

DO NOT REPEAL THE FILIBUSTER.

The filibusters can be bad for the Senate but good for the American public.

Austrailia becomes the 2nd country to ratify ACTA

The Senate is set to ratify after they complete analysis of ACTA by the end of this month.

Australia has become the second country to ratify the agreement and only 4 more ratification until our human rights are taken away.

Say goodbye to DeviantArt.

But we need to read Article 24

ARTICLE 24: PENALTIES
For offenses specified in paragraphs 1, 2, and 4 of Article 23 (Criminal
Offenses), each Party shall provide penalties that include imprisonment as well as
monetary fines12 sufficiently high to provide a deterrent to future acts of infringement,
consistently with the level of penalties applied for crimes of a corresponding gravity.

Future Acts of Infringement. Ever watched Minority Report? This could allow authorities to imprison everyone even if they're not doing anything that doesn't infringe anyone's intellectual property

Like predicting a crime to be committed.  ACTA could predict that you would plan to draw a fan art of someone's intellectual property in lets say 36 hours.

Third, Since the Czech Republic is non-EU, it may intend to ratify ACTA despite its' parliament's rejections on the treaty.

Noda considers on joining TPP silencing the people of Japan

Japanese Prime Minister Noda is considering on joining TPP silencing the people of Japan. This will affect Japanese culture and send jobs overseas, farmers will be affected by this trade agreement.

As this said in the Wikipedia article:

Those groups and other critics of the investment protection regime argue that traditional investment treaty standards are incompatible with environmental law, human rights protection, and public welfare regulation, meaning that TPP will be used to force states to lower standards for e.g. environmental and workers protection - or be sued for damages. As a worst case scenario, investor-state arbitration gives transnational corporations powers to trump the sovereign powers of nations and states and hold back policy developments such as those relating to sustainability and clean energy.

Again, complaining about a unsafe defective products will expose a consumer in a TPP international tribunal.

Casshern wraps up with the final episode tonignt while Tenchi Muo GXP and Inuyasha begins next week.

The Toonami midnight lineup will be different because Daylight Savings Time ends tonight, so make sure you turn your clocks back an hour.

Casshern Sins wraps up with the final episode as Tenchi Muyo GXP begins airing next week along with Inuyasha replacing GITS: SAC.

Seems like there maybe some clues that we may get Final Act along with Astral Ocean

Currently the War on Geminar is streaming in English subtitles on Funimation video,  The new series will be dubbed in English soon after the subtitle stream is finished, which is the clue that Toonami will be airing it. The Original title in Japan is "Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari" known as in translation "Saint Knight Story in an Alternate World".

South Korea readies to ratify ACTA

South Korea is the second nation to ratify ACTA. And with only four more ratifications to go, kiss your internet freedom goodbye. The EU could at least can withdraw from the agreement.

The Next Round of TPP in New Zealand

The 14th round of TPP will be taking place at Auckland, New Zealand on December 3-12.

Currently all negotiators have returned to their countries due to the 2012 Elections going on here in the US. It is unknown whether the Obama Administration will nominate a new trade representative since Obama will win.

As for the ACTA treaty, Canada and the EU have been trying to ratify ACTA through a backdoor treaty called CETA (Canada-EU Trade Agreement) as the EU parliament have rejected ACTA. CETA would be the only treaty to ratify and enforce ACTA. This will make 3 of the 6 ACTA signatories to ratify the treaty. But Canadian protesters are fighting against CETA because the agreement will ratify ACTA.

In order for a treaty to be ratified, a nation's parliament including the US Senate has to introduce a bill or an amendment to ratify a treaty. For the US Senate, 2/3 of the majority is required while depending on the other countries parliaments, it would have to be unanimous.

So all you New Zealanders, this maybe your last chance to fight because all the indigenous peoples will be forced out of their lands by foreign corporations.

TPP is a international Human Rights violation, and foreign national corporations could do away international human rights forcing the consumers against his/her own will to buy their unsafe products even if they don't have money.

Important information for AT&T Customers who live in rural areas

For those who have AT&T DSL in rural areas. The nationwide phone provider AT&T will decide November 7 to decide what to do with landlines in your area.

1. AT&T CEO said that the company may upgrade the landlines, thus expanding U-verse.

2. AT&T has sent to the FCC to repeal the rules, allowing the company to cut off your phone and internet service. The FCC rules is that a telecommunications provider must provide services in rural areas, including DSL Internet. Repealing the rules could also allow cable companies to discontinue internet services to their customers leaving satellite internet (HughesNet, Wildblue) the only providers.

The plan is to make wireless broadband available to all rural areas.

Conclusion of TPP talks delayed until next year, Japan will not join talks

The 9-member TPP nations announced they will suspend the conclusion of talks until next year. Japan announced they would not join TPP talks. Canada and Mexico announced they would join TPP talks, but the Congress has to approve their entry. Austrailia, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, and Singapore all have approved for Canada and Mexico's entry into TPP talks.

I think the Japanese Prime Minister is going "Hey, forget about TPP, let's ratify ACTA." as the nation became the first to ratify the ACTA treaty. It was also the depository for signing the treaty.  Australia will ratify ACTA next year. The next US Senate will ratify ACTA unless we don't act fast and urge the Senate to reject ratification. Canada,  Morocco, Singapore, and South Korea are in the process to ratify ACTA. New Zealand may not ratify ACTA.

Japanese protestors marching in Akihabara on Sunday, September 9th, were mad about the ratification, and urged the Japanese government not to join the TPP talks. Protesters said the (Japanese) government will regret they had ratified the Agreement.

ACTA is still alive regardless of EU's rejection, 14th round of TPP begins

It appears that ACTA is still alive as Japan's House Committee of Foreign Affairs, and is now heading to the House of Representatives (Japan) floor for approval for ratification.  Japan will be the first nation to ratify ACTA. Five more ratifications to go, Austrailia and Mexico have rejected ACTA, but Canada, Morocco, Singapore, and South Korea will ratify the Agreement. So Canadians, you need to make your voice heard and tell your parliament representatives not to ratify this Agreement. However, there is another trade agreement that has ACTA's provisions in it, it's called the Canada-EU trade agreement or CETA.

The 14th round negotiations and it will likely be the final round of negotiations as US trade Representative Kirk has said he wants the deal done before the November Elections. However, Canada and Mexico has been blocked from this round of negotiations until Congress comes back and approve their entry into the negotiations which could be until the next round or the round in. For those in Leesburg, VA, make your voice heard right now. Because there could be expanding a copyright maximum like proposal that could for example expand "three strikes" beyond the internet, just as the old draft ACTA used to have before it was watered down, thus criminalizing private acts of anything, including the things you or a child could do that would put the entire family in prison.

Chile and New Zealand had an IP proposal which is less worse than the US proposal.

The New Zealand proposal would make easier for intellectual works (including medicine) to be accessed by the public.

Chile's proposal would counter the abuse of IP rights similar to the US DMCA counter-notice.

The US proposal calls all TPP members to apply the three step-test which is different to the Berne Convention, makes it impossible for consumers to access IP (including medicines) and implement three strikes.

New Zealand and Chile's proposal sounds fair but the US proposal is the worst.

I will present some updates during this round, so please make your voice heard.

UPDATE: Reported on Twitter. Japan has ratified ACTA.

Bandai Entertainment probably near shutdown as Blu-rays, DVDs, and Manga are discontinued

Bandai Entertainment announced today that all distribution of their titles in Blu-ray, DVD, manga, and novels. Either their titles are going online only and through mobile apps or that maybe a bad sign they're closing down for good. Three things why Bandai's sales are gone empty is because of torrenting, online piracy, and the economy.  Bandai USA arm has been closed down when it merged with Namco previously. The only anime companies that are now left is: Funimation, Viz Media, Sentai Filmworks/Section23, and Media Blasters. Viz will stop distributing its home video titles since they launched Neon Alley but it will be a slow start while their titles are on Crunchyroll and Toonzaki, now owned by Konami.

Congradulations! You are now ready to use the FBI APW seal

Wait no longer. The FBI Anti-Piracy Warning is now available for all copyright holders.

For those are concerned about the seal affecting fair use, The FBI released this note:

"The APW seal is not intended to discourage fair uses of copyrighted materials that are consistent with U.S. law..."

However, The fair use warnings are not authorized by the FBI.

In order to use the seal you must meet the requirements:

1.  Your original work must be copyright protected (No need to register a copyright for your work. Any original work is automatically copyrighted)

2. Your copyrighted work is subject to protected under the US Criminal Code provisions

3. Must not violate federal law if produced, sold, publicly presented, distributed by mail or in affecting interstate commerce.

Use the seal wisely.

Is DeviantArt and FanFiction Dot Net on the Copyright blacklist

DeviantArt and FanFiction could be on the copyright blacklist.

How? Remember the FBI Anti-Piracy Warning seal goes in effect tomorrow, and once the seal is found everywhere, Google can delist DeviantArt and Fanfiction (dot) Net for hosting fandomized versions of a novel, comic, manga, TV show, anime, cartoon, movie, etc.

J.R. Tolken, J. K. Rolling, and everyone who puts the seal on their copyrighted work will give Google the green list to delist them and the FBI to arrest anyone who uploads fan art and fanfiction.

It will have a chilling effect on 'fair use', even if the FBI does support the doctrine.

We're all screwed :(

New TPP limitations restricts fair use and educational use only

US Trade Representative proposed new rules to the TPP or the three-step test which is important for limitations on educational use but can be abused. New Zealand opposes these limitations along with Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The Copyright exceptions and limitations section change, however, makes it worse putting educational use including libraries and schools in the danger zone.

Update: Correcting this error.

Zynga: A Bernie Madoff-style scandal

Zynga CEO could be sharing a cell with Bernie Madoff as the company has been sued for inside trading and not reporting a Q2 report on time.

If Zynga doesn't clean up it's act, I'm going to be playing Farm Town.

UPDATE: Not only law firms are suing Zynga, but Electronic Arts as well. Zynga's game The Ville was infringing EA's Facebook game Sims Social. So apparently to me, CityVille infringes Sims City Social.

Monday, July 30, 2012

Zynga could go bankrupt by the end of this week, Facebook could follow

As you all heard that Zynga and Facebook's growth in Q2 are poor because nobody cares including me (some have migrated to Google Plus) and I hope they both go down because everyone needs to get out and find some real friends and not some imaginary virtual friends you meet on social media. Divorce rates have skyrocketed because of Facebook. If FB goes down, the divorce rate will go down as well. Men needs to support and think about their wives. For more info on How social media ruins marriages and cause the divorce rate to increase.

Zynga's stock has now fallen below $3.00 and will continue until it goes into bankruptcy by the end of this week. Facebook will follow and will become bankrupt by this autumn.

DirecTV/Viacom Dispute negotiations ended: No Deal (UPDATE)

The DirecTV/Viacom Negotiations have ended, but the result for the dispute is: No Deal.

Here's what happened:

On July 10, Viacom demanded DirecTV to remove their channels off the lineup, while negotiations continue.

July 17: DirecTV offers its' customers to watch Viacom's shows online for free, including Hulu. But Viacom took them down, affecting not only DirecTV subscribers, but online viewers as well.

July 18 (today): Viacom offered EPiX as an addition to the negotiations, but DirecTV refused saying it would add additional fees, making its' subscribers pay more. Viacom turned away, thus ending the negotiations quoting in their blog that there's "no intention of (for DirecTV) working with us to expedite a resolution." They also used cable providers (including Comcast) on a radio ad to tell DirecTV subscribers to switch services. DirecTV said they are willing and welcome Viacom to come back to the negotiating table and settle this dispute, but not this time.

If you are DirecTV subscriber, do not switch providers, because Viacom wants you to pay more if you do. There's a lot of things you can do, you still have Disney and Cartoon Network. You should be glad DirecTV brought Disney Junior for your youngsters. In fact, there's a big world out there that needs to be explored, go out and do something, read a book. If you have Netflix, go watch it.

DirecTV tried their best to keep the channels, but we can't afford to pay more for Viacom's content, and they are protecting the consumer.

BOYCOTT VIACOM.

UPDATE: Agteement Reached. Apparently EPiX was not included as we can't afford to pay.

Thank you DirecTV subscribers for battling this fight.

FBI expands "Anti-Piracy" seal to art, literature, etc.

The FBI has released a new rule to expand the use of the "Anti-piracy" seal, that is used in movies, music labels and software, to art, literature, online publishing content creators, and more. It will make it easier for content owners of art, novels, news, etc. to warn users that they might be felons and the FBI will bust in your house, arrest and throw you in prison for 5 years and fine you $250,000.That means you can use this seal for your blog or webcam video and you can catch people for trying to reproduce and redistribute even if you gave them permission.

This rule goes into effect 30 days after it's published.

For example, I created my own trademark and I don't need to get a trademark license, all I need to do is go to FBI website and get an authorization to use the seal for protection of my trademark and I'm good to go. Don't need to do anything. Just relax and watch the APW seal do the work, someone steals my trademark, that person is busted and he/she gets 5 years in prison and I get paid in loyalty, that includes monetary damages of $250,000.

You would not steal my work would you. So don't think about it. Ever since these jokers try to steal my webcam videos and alter them by putting color effects on it and replacing my voice with a copyrighted audio of Brian Griffin in a banana suit rapping "Peanut Butter Jelly". I am not going to tolerate this, I will catch you for stealing my webcam videos. And I'm going to do it by slapping the Anti-Piracy seal on my webcam videos. Stealing someone's work and plagiarizing them is a felonious crime. It hurts the creator's innovation and it cost everyone and every businesses money.

Five comments in the text concerning that the usage of the "Anti-Piracy" seal would have a chilling effect with "fair use". The FBI fully recognize the doctrine under 17 USC 107s. The FBI will address the issue on its' website. But however, this will make it easier for content owners who not are members of the MPAA, RIAA, ESA, etc. such as Viz, The Pokemon Company, and Funimation can go after those who illegally upload their titles to YouTube. In fact, fanart and fanfiction that are uploaded, DeviantArt will have to take them down and remove the fan art and fan fiction category off their site. FanFiction (dot) Net will be shut down by the FBI just as they shut down.

Other words, it will be fine unless you trace a trademarked character, then it's off to prison with you. If it's for your own private use, it's fine.In fact, the warning message doesn't criminalize "private use".

Now I know if you are a fan of Mickey Mouse, but Disney will not let you fandomize their works, since the comic artist in 1976 who distributed a parody of Mickey Mouse. And now Viacom can not only go after people who redistribute and reproduce their TV shows, but they can now go after those who distribute fan works. If your child draws SpongeBob, you and your entire family will go to prison. As a matter of fact, Viz can go after people who draw Inuyasha. Pokemon Company can also go after those after their fans who fandomize or parodying their product.

The other issues is that the expansion of the Anti-Piracy seal affects the first sale doctrine as the Anti-Piracy seal prohibits distribution of copyrighted content and it also has the chilling effect of educational use.

US Trade Representative adds 3-Step test copyright limitations to water down copyright maximum chapter

On July 3, The US Trade Representative announced that they will negotiate to add a "3-step" test in TPP that will allow copyright limitations and exceptions including fair use and first sale.

While these limitation can be a bad thing according to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the 3-step test could be a good thing. Countries under a proposed 3-step test can adopt US style copyright limitations and exceptions like I mentioned fair use and first sale. This will protect businesses, such as cafes and karaoke bars, flea markets, yard, and garage sales from being sued and banned. Japan (Should the country join TPP) can also adopt these limitations and apply it on Fan art, Fan Fiction, and Cosplay.

Simply implementing a copyright maximum has been watered down. All at least we can do is try to water down the Arbital Tribunal, such as allowing the defendant (countries) to appeal the lawsuit that threatens to undermine consumer freedom, safety, health, and environmental protection. A corporation sues you for complaining about a defective product, you like in a US court can appeal it with evidence and the corporate cannot appeal it therefore they must pay the damages. Such thing like that can cost a company millions of dollars.

Beijing Treaty on audiovisual performance rights

Well, Al Yankovic who parodied "Gangsta's Paradise" will be going to prison as this agreement called the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performance Rights has been signed. But it will not go into force until it's ratified by 30 member states, including the US and the EU which will take at least a year or more. The US Senate has yet to schedule a hearing on the treaty. An unanimous approval is likely before it reaches the full Senate floor for ratification. Like all other treaties, The Beijing Treaty requires 2/3 of the majority (67 aye votes)

This treaty is exactly similar to ACTA and TPPA which criminalizes:

- Parodies (Youtube Poops, Rick Rolls, etc.) Al Yankovic (whom I mentioned above) and Cletus T. Judd will be going to prison since they're parodying other song artist's work

- Modifications and remixes of audio, including the using of audio modification software including Audacity, even if it's for private use.

- Personal and private use audiovisual work which means the Actors will be watching you through wireless surveillance cameras. This may lead to mandatory DRM human brain implants. No more singing in the shower or participating in Karaokes, or singing happy birthday, or school plays, or in public, etc. Same as the previous draft of ACTA. You will even have to pay to listen to the audio over again. No more showing movies to family and friends. Justin Bieber is going to prison for singing a copyrighted song.

- Modifying, Cropping, and distributing images using Photoshop and Wikipedia. (If you crop the head of Lindsey Lohan, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, one of the members of Big Time Rush and portray them in a pornographic image, you will not only be sued but be put in prison as well. And Wikipedia will have to abide by the Treaty's rules or they'll be shut down.

- Reselling copyrighted audiovisual work is illegal under this treaty. So if you plan on a garage or yard sale, forget it or you will go to prison. In fact, under TPPA, as I mentioned in my last article, you may want to forget selling your clothes, TV, bed, dressers, appliances, etc. Because it's illegal to resell as this treaty and TPPA kills the "First Sale" clause. Ebay will be forced to shut down.

This treaty does not apply to digital artwork only audio and video.

Everyone of you in the EU, US, Canada, New Zealand, Austrailia, and other countries can fight back and tell your Senator or Parliament member to vote NO on Ratification.  US Senators requires 34 No votes to block it.

If it Senate fails to ratify, the president can declare accession to the treaty by executive order, officially joining the treaty. Accession means that a country can join to adopt the treaty without ratification. Accession counts the same toward ratification. 30 Accessions without ratification can still enforce the treaty.

TPPA and its' cause

You have heard about Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement that has gone through secret negotiations.

What is that TPPA would do is that it will:

- Allow big companies to sue governments and force them to change their laws, in other means that government programs like food stamps, social security, and Medicare would cut it's funding in favor for tax commodities. This will make Middle class poverty much worse.

- It will cost millions of jobs rather creating more.

- It would force us to surrender our sovereignty even ban the "Buy America" clause.

- It will put foreign anime licensing companies out of business because of limitations on foreign imports and exports.

- Retail and online outlets could go out of business as well

- Manga artists love their fans but big publishing companies will put a stop to that under TPPA. Manga artists could be punished by big companies.

- DeviantArt and FanFictionNet will be shut down under this agreement.

- It kills the First Sale doctrine. So you can't sell your mattress or car or anything you own without the manufacturer's permission.

- Criminal punishments applies to cosplay and non-profit infringement (except for educational use in Libraries and Public Broadcasting) such as fandomized versions of TV shows, anime, manga, movies, and published works.

Congressman Darrel Issa posted the copyright section of the TPPA on Keep The Web Open website.

ADV: Funimation is an Illegal Monopoly

ADV (Section23/Sentai Filmworks/ASV Holdings) counter-sued and accused accused FUNimation as an illegal monopoly.

Trolls on the ANN forum have responded to the article.

"(expletive) dubs, (expletive) use of voice actors, (expletive) business practices, blah blah blah"

Apparently, people don't want to buy legal DVDs and downloading things for free, aka piracy.

One poster commented:

"I'm pretty sure he's parodying the common idea that fansubs are the reason the industry is crashing."

While online piracy are common through fansubbing is the cause of the anime industry in jeopardy, global currencies are declining, the Eurozone is near an end due to Greece election and other bailouts including Portugal and Spain. Germany handles the Euro common currency.

The few responses in the ANN forums that all favor for FUNimation to close its doors if the Harris County Texas District Judge sides with ADV.  Most of all it could not only cost FUNimation's CEO Gen Fukunaga to lose his business, it could cost his citizenship and risk deportation back to Japan, just remember what happened to News Corp and the phone hacking scandal. If the Federal Government find that Rupert Murdoch was not only running an illegal monopoly, but an illegal duopoly, he would not only risk to lose the Dow, the Fox networks, News corp owned newspapers including the Miami Sun, and his business, but he would also lose his US citizenship and risk deportation, and the UK would sentence him to imprisonment. But the US Feds did nothing, because they didn't have enough evidence to prove it. They didn't remember if News Corp did the hacking. Most of all, UK incidents have no connection to the US.

The fate of FUNimation rests in the hands of the District Judge.

Reviews of Deadman Wonderland

Deadman Wonderland is a horror action anime. The Plot begins with the protagonist Ganta who has been sentenced to death for false capital crimes with fake footage of him admitting he was behind the school murder as nobody believed him that the Red Man was the one who killed the students. He gets transported to a prison under a theme park similar to Superjail called Deadman Wonderland (hence the title). In the prison, Ganta meets an old childhood friend Shiro, who happens to be the Wretched Egg and the Red Man he doesn't know until the final arc of the manga. As for the candy, they are temporary antidotes that last for 3 days and every immate has to take one every 3 days otherwise that person dies as the poison that is contained in their tracking necklaces is injected into their bloodstream. Unfortunately this is only 12 episodes despite of budget issues in the Japanese anime industry.

Story 7.1/10 - Looks at bit close to the manga.

Graphics 7.5/10 - It's a whole lot Gorey, Children shouldn't watch it especially with Makina did an overkill to an inmate for stealing Ganta's candy.

Action 7.5/10 - The Ganta gun, Ganta's Branch of sin, is one of my favorites.

Final: 22.1/30 Toonami did a good job on this show.

That's it for now

Later.

Toonami Block schedule revealed with two new anime from Funimation

With Toonami returning, it's not going to last that long with fans very disappointed wanting to see Inuyasha: Final Act on the block, however Adult Swim/Williams Street is looking into it, as well as acquiring other anime such as Fairy Tail, one of the Gundam series, Panty and Stocking, maybe even Cat Planet Cuties, Eureka Seven Astral Ocean, etc.

The new schedule this Saturday consists of Casshern Sins and Deadman Wonderland with Bleach, FMA: Brotherhood, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop remaining.

Vice President of Cartoon Network, Jason Demarco said on his Twitter account that acquiring new shows cost much more money. Peter Cullen who won't be announcer due to his contract with Disney doing Eeyore and Hasbro for Optimus Prime. SARA will not be in there. TOM 3.0 will still be voiced by Steven Blum.

But I can live with that. If you want more anime to be on Toonami, you better buy the merchandise to support the block or they will go away again since 2006.

For those who rather see classics, classic Toonami shows are old old and do not generate in ratings. New shows generate in ratings. If You want to watch them, go to Best Buy or FYE and buy the DVDs.

Since 1999 before the creation of Adult Swim. Toonami had its' own midnight block called the Midnight Run, began airing anime for teens and adults of 17+. It is unknown whether we may get a TOM 5.0 after the block ended with TOM 4.0.

changes to the Adult Swim lineup maybe a sign that Toonami could return

Toonami Faithful, you might be getting your wish because there are changes to the Adult Swim Saturday lineup.

What's gone from the lineup

- Inuyasha (license to the show maybe expiring by the end of this month)

- Kekkaishi (license to this show maybe expiring by the end of this month, or maybe it could end up streaming on Toonzaki)

- Ghost in the Shell (license to both the season 1 and the 2nd Gig maybe expiring)

- FLCL (Funimation's rescue license is set to expire)

What's still on the lineup

- Bleach

- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

- Cowboy Bebop

What's going to come to the lineup? We'll Funi has licensed Eureka Seven AO but the English Cast has not been announced yet or when they will be dubbing. As for Shin Chan? not a chance, after poor ratings on the AS block, the broadcast rights to the show expired. Apparently for you Shin Chan fans, will need to listen up, after watching the final episode of Season 3, Shin Chan breaking the fourth wall that the show has been cancelled. So unfortunately, no Season 4, they may dub the movies, but they went the way of Case Closed.

The show will still go on (in Japan until TV Asahi decides to end it there). So if you want more Shin Chan, move to Japan.

Back to the lineup, Inuyasha Final Act? That show was finished in Japan and I think Viz doesn't want AS to air it. But we'll see. Tiger and Bunny? maybe. Panty and Stocking? Worth a shot. Sgt. Frog? Maybe not.

We'll it ain't going to be DBZ, because Nicktoons got the broadcast rights.

And I don't know about Fairy Tail or Madoka Magica.

You're gonna have to find out. You may catch Adult Swim's upfront on May 16, but you have to be working for the media press and get a press pass.

So as Steve Blum says, Stay Gold.

Bang.

CW going online only? The end of TV as we know it

Is the CW going online only? Seems like it, Apparently online viewing has been increased while TV is declining dramatically which is good news for the FCC auction block to wireless companies.

CW stations will be encouraged to auction their channels to wireless companies including one affiliate that was about to leave the Broadcast TV business.

TV is soon coming to an end as more watchers get their shows online and simply cutting their cable/satellite and watch their shows on the laptop. Very soon, we could see TVs piled up on the curb sometimes later next year early 2013, or mid-2014. On another hand, people will start buying internet-enabled TVs and Rokus for viewership.

And for Toonzai? They're gone too after that.

Update: Theres was an error.  This was an old April Fools Joke.

Bring Back Toonami

You may have heard about Toonami that just aired on April Fool's Day on Adult Swim. People were to expect to watch the usual porno movie "The Room" every April Fool's. On Twitter, Adult Swim posted after the block "Want it Back? Let us know.". It seems apparently that CN is trying to compete with TeenNick's "The 90s are All That".
