changes to the Adult Swim lineup maybe a sign that Toonami could return

Toonami Faithful, you might be getting your wish because there are changes to the Adult Swim Saturday lineup.

What's gone from the lineup

- Inuyasha (license to the show maybe expiring by the end of this month)

- Kekkaishi (license to this show maybe expiring by the end of this month, or maybe it could end up streaming on Toonzaki)

- Ghost in the Shell (license to both the season 1 and the 2nd Gig maybe expiring)

- FLCL (Funimation's rescue license is set to expire)

What's still on the lineup

- Bleach

- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

- Cowboy Bebop

What's going to come to the lineup? We'll Funi has licensed Eureka Seven AO but the English Cast has not been announced yet or when they will be dubbing. As for Shin Chan? not a chance, after poor ratings on the AS block, the broadcast rights to the show expired. Apparently for you Shin Chan fans, will need to listen up, after watching the final episode of Season 3, Shin Chan breaking the fourth wall that the show has been cancelled. So unfortunately, no Season 4, they may dub the movies, but they went the way of Case Closed.

The show will still go on (in Japan until TV Asahi decides to end it there). So if you want more Shin Chan, move to Japan.

Back to the lineup, Inuyasha Final Act? That show was finished in Japan and I think Viz doesn't want AS to air it. But we'll see. Tiger and Bunny? maybe. Panty and Stocking? Worth a shot. Sgt. Frog? Maybe not.

We'll it ain't going to be DBZ, because Nicktoons got the broadcast rights.

And I don't know about Fairy Tail or Madoka Magica.

You're gonna have to find out. You may catch Adult Swim's upfront on May 16, but you have to be working for the media press and get a press pass.

So as Steve Blum says, Stay Gold.

Bang.
