R.I.P. LocalBTV

 As of yesterday, Thanksgiving Day, the service has shut down for good. 

Last Month, there was a message that the Locals were taken down.

LocalBTV viewers, We’re currently experiencing an issue with our main bandwidth provider. The fix is complicated and we are working hard to get it resolved. This impacts some markets in which many channels in the Local tab are temporarily unavailable. The channels in the National tab are still available. Thank you for your patience and hopefully you find some channels you enjoy. Team LocalBTV

I pretty assume that this has to do something in the past that Weigel Broadcasting went after them for streaming their networks Antenna TV, MeTV, and This TV. It's either that this is similar to the Locast case or they removed the local channels from all markets due to financial issues right up until they shut down the service.

Either way, I suggest you use an antenna.

Swtiching to Xfinity Internet

 I will be switching to Xfinity Internet from T-mobile. I will be able to post an update when the transition is complete as there will be a temporary disruption.

BBC Kids has left Pluto TV

You will have to move to the UK to watch BBC kids and pay an arm and a leg to watch it on the iPlayer. BBC Kids has left Pluto TV. The channel was launched last year. Assuming, they failed to reach an agreement to keep the channel on the app.
