ISP liability: Requiring ISPs to kick users off the internet is no longer in the TPP. But the safe harbor provision of the DMCA in the TPP is restricted.
The TPP will go into force in 2018, two years after it's ratified by all 11 countries. However, it will be difficult for Congress to pass it because.

TPP ratification through Fast Track proceedure may fail
Passage of TPP could be a quick before Boehner resigns and leaves.
However, there is some good news that there may be a chance the ratification of TPP through Fast Track could fail on further issues.
1. Proposal on data exclusivity is now 8 years contradicting US patent law on biological medicines which is currently 12 years. Senator Orrin Hatch, President Pro-Tempore and Chair of the Senate Finance Committee recently said he would vote against the TPP if the wording that so contrary to the US patent law on biological drugs is not agreed to by negotiating countries. Even if the US caved in to Australia's demands to have The US to rollback it's data exclusivity back to 5 years, which we are willing to live with that, it would still be voted against. TPP would be dead on the floor.
2. ISDS safeguard, that would prevent Big tobacco like Phillip Morris from suing countries like Australia, has been reintroduced by President Obama. It was recently proposed but was withdrawn. While it's some good news for anti-tobacco advocates, it's bad for pro-tobacco Republicans. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who is pro-Big Tobacco would likely introduce a disapproval resolution, which according to the provision in fast track trade authority requires 60 votes before revoking fast track, thus Republicans would be free to remove the safeguard except like in the normal treaty ratification process, it would require 67, thus it would be difficult to get some Democrats, who oppose the TPP, on board.
3. Immigration Chapter that was leaked as Senator Jeff Sessions warned it would undermine our sovereignty. He voted against Fast Track, so it's likely he would vote against the TPP.
4. It could be two votes short because Senators Cruz, Graham, Paul, and Rubio are in the 2016 presidential race, that unless Senator Joe Manchin, and another pro-trade democrat who supports free trade, or independent Angus King joins in adding the deciding vote by the Senate President, Vice President Joe Biden, who will likely give it a thumb up to pass it.

TPP is signed. However, I have said in my previous posts the provision in Fast Track that requires the president to release the text of a trade agreement only applies to future trade agreements. So even if it's blocked, the final text will never be released for another 4 years as reported by UK-owned The Independent as leaked. Despite of this, President Obama may have already signed the same day it was finalized, meaning it could be voted on in the house on the first week in December and in the Senate after the holiday recess.

Anime could soon die on its deathbed as studio Manglobe becomes insolvent by bankruptcy
Anime could soon in the near future die on its deathbed as an anime studio, Manglobe known for its' productions Samurai Champloo, Michiko and Hatchin, and Deadman Wonderland, files for bankruptcy becoming insolvent.
It's current film Genocidal Organ is slated to premiere in Japanese cinemas on November 13th. It is unknown whether the film is finished or unfinished.

Editthis.info is down, and could be the end of the wiki
Editthis.info is down and could be the end of the site if it doesn't come back up in a day or so.
I may migrate to wikia if it's the end of Editthis.info.
It has "Error 2003". It is run of a MySQL server and I don't know if robkohr is going to fix it or not. Checked his Twitter page and he rarely post with no future on Editthis.info, just a bunch of YouTube videos. I have set up a new blog for fanfiction and original fiction.

Time to uninstall firefox immediately
I'm not joking. Due to complaints being sent to Mozilla, it's time to switch to another browser (ex. Edge, Chrome, Opera, etc.) and ditch Firefox immediately.
Here's why:
1. Site compatibility, ogg format is being ditched which is bad news for Wikipedia.
2. Developers are required to validate their add-ons. Meaning you will be exposed to more malware, cookie tracking, and Web of Trust that you have will go bye-bye.
3. Cut-Copy-Paste? Useless since they have been given into demands of big media corporates, big corporate publishers.
4. Your computer mouse might become useless in version 41 I don't know why MouseEvent.movementX/Y would be unprefixed.
5. Websites will also become inaccessible as HTTP/2 is being ditched.
Here's how to remove Firefox.
1. For Windows 10 users, Edge browser is pre-installed with the OS. It may have bugs in it, so you could use it if you want to. you can install Chrome, or Opera as well.
2. Once you have installed the alternative browser you selected go to this link and follow the instructions to uninstall firefox.
3. Once you done it. CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE FIREFOX-FREE!!! :)

The TPP is not grinding to a halt, it's close to being finalized and signed
Regardless what Techdirt wrote that TPP is grinding to a halt, the title of the article is putting us off-guard. As for me, I'm always vigilant for what's coming as Malaysia Mustapa and Japan's Amari have both announced that they're making progress and about to set a date for a ministerial meeting to finalize the TPP.
And when that date comes, the TPP will soon be finalized and signed at the end of the meeting before the Canadian elections and could be passed by Congress immediately before the Presidential election with no chance of revealing what's in it for the next 4 years and like I said in my last post Fast Track only applies to future trade agreements.
Thinking that the TPP coming to a halt is putting us off-guard as negotiators were secretly negotiating the TPP over the phone.
Another issue that the TPP would prevent the Copyright Office from limiting statutory damages for works that aren't registered. It's called Orphan works.
Under the US Copyright office's proposal, works that have been created without being registered, just a reminder for those who want to use someone else's work who have to check the database if the creator of the work is found or not. Statutory damage of the infringement of the creator's work that is unregistered would be limited or nullified means that the work whom the creator made it, the infringer now owns it. But under the TPP, statutory damages for the infringed work is $150,000. Sounds good for the creators who uploads their created work to DeviantArt would want it, now do they?
Update: It is now confirmed that the conclusion of the TPP reported by Trade Representative Jack Lew is under way.
Update 2: The Final Ministerial Meeting has been set from September 26-30. Despite resources saying about Obama having trouble getting the TPP passed in Congress is just not accurate. Fast Track Trade Authority only applies to future trade agreements
According to the Fast track 2015, once a trade agreement is finalized, the president must publish the finalized trade agreement within 60 days. Unfortunately, this might not be the case as it could only apply to future trade agreements, and may not apply to the TPP, keeping the full text hidden for the next few years as Australian Trade Minister Robb announced to the Australian (Subscription only) that the trade agreement will be signed within weeks after the deal is concluded, which could be up into the end of next month. Congress will then within 60 days from both houses must approve the agreement with changes to its laws.
