Trump Imposes 100% tariffs on foreign TV and movies

 This is death blow to anime fandom as Trump announced a 100% tariffs on foreign TV and movies. We can expect Crunchyroll and HiDive to increase their subscription prices by 100% next month. This can also be a nail in the coffin for ad supported streaming including Pluto TV that right now just added Anime x HiDive, Pluto Anime Comedy. The anime category will be removed along with Flicks of Fury. This tariff can force streaming services to make cut backs and/or increase their subscription prices by 100%.

Sony's Acquisition of Kadokawa kills Otaku culture

 Reuters (cannot link the article because it's paywalled) reported that Sony is in talks to acquire Kadokawa manga publisher that is known for anime like Oshi No Ko And Highschool DxD. Kadokawa owns Yen Press l, which means more censorship and more woke content, which Japanese Otakus have no interest in that trash. Furthermore, this acquisition will be a deathblow to Sentai Filmworks, the owner of HiDive and it's FAST (Free Ad-supported Television) channel Anime X HiDive, because Sentai has the license to some of Kadokawa's properties. And since Kadokawa owns Anime News Network, Sony is likely to shut it down and move ANN's news content to Crunchyroll. The only alternative is Bounding into Comics.

Kakao, a parent company of Kong Games, the developer of Guardian Tales, almost tried to buy Kadokawa. Should Kakao bought Kadokawa, would mean more Guardian Tales collabs with Kadokawa's IPs.

RIP Gainax 1984-2024

 Anime News Network have reported that Studio Gainax known for Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water, Kare Kano, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and FLCL, have filed for bankruptcy and is now declared defunct. All of its IP are transferred to Studio Khara.

I pretty assume that this has to do something in the past that Weigel Broadcasting went after them for streaming their networks Antenna TV, MeTV, and This TV. It's either that this is similar to the Locast case or they removed the local channels from all markets due to financial issues right up until they shut down the service.

Either way, I suggest you use an antenna.

Swtiching to Xfinity Internet

BBC Kids has left Pluto TV

You will have to move to the UK to watch BBC kids and pay an arm and a leg to watch it on the iPlayer. BBC Kids has left Pluto TV. The channel was launched last year. Assuming, they failed to reach an agreement to keep the channel on the app.

Unfortunely, Editthis dot info has shut down and I don't know it would come back online. I got an Connection Timed Out and I hope Rob Kohr could fix this. Unfortunately I'm out of alternatives. I cannot afford wikidot for personal wiki costing around $49.99, creating a community site is an option. Fandom, copying the Jail letters of Chris Chan would possibly violate Community Guidelines and inactive wikis up to a week are deleted. Shoutwiki and wiki-site are abandoned because Shout Wiki removed create a wiki and wiki-site no longer sends email confirmation I didn't received it within 15 minutes.

Miraheze will not let you create fan wikis due to the UK's copyright law (no fair use). Fair use and Fair dealing are two different copyright terms. I am not a legal copyright lawyer.

 Whenever a Japanese artist, a mangaka, or a former prime minister of Japan dies, Nipponophobic Twitter  will tweet a Nipponophobic parody lyric of Nirvana's "Another One Bites The Dust" with the racist Nipponophobic J-word since World War II.

What's the target? Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The assassin was apprehended. However, there was very little respect and condolences to the former First Lady of Japan and his children. It's disgraceful. The reason they do this is to make anime more woke by making the characters Non-Japanese.

RIP Roblox

 Why the title you ask? Many audio clips that uploaded to the platform by developers will be privated and removed by March 22nd.

After that, everyone will stop using Roblox and the platform will close its doors for good in the coming months. 

There is a class action Lawsuit by the big music industry because many have uploaded the popular meme "The Coffin Dance" titled ID Astronmia.

According to the Roblox Development Forums, audio must be 6 seconds long otherwise they will be private. Radio and boomboxes will no longer work. Plus you must use Roblox's own sounds and copyrighted free or licensed music form other groups like APM or Monstercat. Furthermore you can no longer use the roblox music ID.

Music based experiences including Funky Friday will cease to exist.

Either way Roblox is going to get shuttered in the coming months and not just that more users will be leaving the platform, but we are seeing a jury trail which. means the end. And we are talking about statutory damages of $200 Million by music companies.

Plus, I can't scan my ID because I just moved and I have to get a new one. Furthermore I don't have a phone.

Ascimo3089 us working to get the sounds on Jailbreak replaced until the deadline. The Cargo Ship sound is going to be hard to replace because APMMusic will not let him license the sound and music.

Roblox could've done the same thing as Youtube did for their video platform,  establish a content ID system and filter all the copyrighted audio which is a better improvement. But instead, Roblox has to delete all the audio, which Asimo cannot reupload the music because they were uploaded as a group under Badimo and I don't know what happened to BadCC.

Three copyright bills shoved into spending bill is a final nail in the coffin for the internet

 Three copyright legislations have been packed into the spending bill which will be the final nail in the coffin for the internet.

1. The CASE Act - which would be illegal to share memes on social media platforms and bankrupt those through a tribunal in the Copyright Office with no chances of appeal or dismiss.

2. The Trademark Modernization - which would help stop trademark trolls. Not an issue.

3. Senator Tillis (R-NC) has a proposal that will make it a felony to stream gameplay or dancing baby videos that have copyrighted music in the background. Very similar to SOPA/PIPA.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation has warned that it will be a chilling effect of free speech and freedom of innovation. Others organization in the opposition are: American Library Association, The Internet Archive, and the Center for Democracy and technology.

I need to see a dentist

Last night,  there was something stuck in my teeth. I thought it was as popcorn kernel. So I got a toothpick and tried to pick it out and turns out to be a piece of one of my incisors. I tried to attach it back but then this morning when I go brush my teeth, the piece came off.

Now my health is in serious danger. I need to get it repaired or I could die from a serious infection. The incisor you see in this picture is exposed and bleeding.
