1. John - because Kyon sounds like John which means he's possibly Japanese American and also a fact that his aunt calls him Kyon.
2. Kyosuke - As some in forums have suggested.
As a result, His real name is JOHN ASAHINA.

WMG: Haruhi Suzumiya Series II
Mikuru Asakara may either not be from a distant future or a time traveler and even she may not be what Kyon and Koizumi thinks.
Theory 1: Mikuru was born sometime before Haruhi. She may have been taken into the future by the Time Authority.
Another possibility is that Mikuru may likely be Kyon's little sister from the future. Either Mikuru is Kyon's little sister's real name or it maybe just a fake name, which her real name is still a mystery. Kyon's little sister is 10 years old, if we compare both Kyon's Imouto and Mikuru's profile on Haruhi Wiki it would make more sense. Mikuru may be born in April and a proven fact is that her English Voice Actor Stephanie Sheh was born on the same month.
Who would've figured out that Kyon's Imouto grown up to be a time traveler? Why didn't Mikuru met Kyon's little sister? It's because Mikuru never visited Kyon's house. It's said by Doc Brown in Back To The Future Part 2 is that if Jennifer runs into her other self she would faint or the universe would explode, this same logic would apply Mikuru. On the other hand she may have already met her young self using the Bill and Ted logic where Bill and Ted meets their doubles. I mean come on, why would time traveling and meeting your past self would eventually destroy the universe? Disney's Meet the Robinsons is another example to disapprove Doc Brown's theory.
But theory about Mikuru being Kyon's little sister can be debunked by one character, Fujiwara. If Fujiwara said that Mikuru is his sister, then this theory about her being Kyon's litttle sister is disapproved. Another thing to disprove this is that Mikuru said she doesn't have a brother.so that rules Kyon's little sister out.
Theory 2: Mikuru is a spy of the Anti-SOS brigade. If Mikuru is a slider (according to TV Tropes' WMG) and not a time traveler, she may have came into the alpha timeline from beta timeline as a spy. No wonder why she keeps things classified from Kyon, Koizumi, and Yuki and we may have realized that her tears and love for Kyon and Koizumi are fake. Maybe sometime later in the series, she'll show her true self betraying her friends and goes back to the beta timeline exposing everything about Haruhi and the SOS Brigade to the Anti-SOS Brigade. Haruhi might know this because she is Jesus, Mikuru is Judas. But she'll might then realized what she have done and commit suicide and Haruhi might hit the reset button on her but then again she may not. We may also realized that Haruhi did kill Mikuru in the future because as stated she is a spy sent by the Anti-SOS Brigade as given by a this clue Fujiwara said that someone killed Mikuru and because he said he's Mikuru's brother. But then again, Fujiwara may have killed his own sister by accident or even that she is a double agent.

And no, that unnamed kid is not Haruhi's brother but her neighbor though he calls her Suzumiya nee-sa.

So we'll just name him "Asahina" or "Dr. Asahina." Unfortunately, this theory is going to disappoint you Kyon x Haruhi fans. Kyon and Haruhi are not a couple. If you watched the Disappearance of Haruhi movie and the Yuki-chan OVA spin off, it will show you that Kyon and Yuki are the real couple. And also to point out in theory #3 in Episode 23 where Haruhi directs a kissing scene at Tsuruya's house. Kyon got pissed and tries to hit Haruhi and Koizumi stopped him. Mikuru said "stop fighting or else oh right classified information." Using Doc Brown's time paradox, If Kyon hurt Haruhi without being stopped by Koizumi, he would cause her to commit suicide by celestials as she tried to attempt in previous episodes, Mikuru would never be born.
Emiri Kimidori may not be as evil as everyone thinks.
Emiri is a messenger and a useless dog to the Anti-SOS Brigade because "Kimidori means dog in Japanese". Emiri may not only be an alien but a slider as well. We all know Emiri is a pacifist. Emiri might realize she's being used by the Anti-SOS Brigade and could soon leave and join the SOS Brigade.
Emiri is the Gluko of Mon Colle Knights minus the big breasts. If Emiri is not evil, why does she hang out with the wrong crowd?

Wild Mass Guess: Haruhi Suzumiya Series I
First of all I wanted to put in my wild mass guess of the Haruhi series to TV tropes.
I saw some clues that which got me thinking that Sasaki and Haruhi are connected. From the Bohemian Leaf Rhapsody to the Disassociation.
Sasaki and Haruhi are sisters
1. Sasaki was the one who formed the SOS Brigade instead of Haruhi. The Disappearance gave me a clue that when the Middle School Haruhi who wanted to form the SOS Brigade she wanted to be like Sasaki.
2. Sasaki's original surname was Suzumiya before it was changed to an unknown surname although Another clue is that they might have lived in the same home since they both went to the same Elementary School together until they were separated.
3. Sasaki called Kyon to meet her privately because doesn't want to expose Fujiwara and Kyouko about her being related to Haruhi. She would reveal to Kyon about her relationship to Haruhi and that they both had the same godlike power. When Kyouko and Fujiwara wanted to transfer Haruhi's powers to Sasaki, this clue meant they were going to erase Haruhi's existence and Sasaki would forbid them trying to harm her own sibling and with Kyon's support promising her not to allow them to erase Haruhi's existence. Fujiwara and Kyouko would be labeling her as a traitor and exposing her being related to Haruhi. Sasaki would then trap Ryoko, Emiri, Tsuruya, Fujiwara, Kyouko and Kuyou inside her closed space allowing her and Kyon to make a getaway.
4. Sasaki didn't bother to reveal about her relationship to her sister because Haruhi may have forgotten who she is, she also knew that her sister has become a rebel and her godlike powers were unstable, instead she introduced herself to her as an old friend that is until Haruhi created a celestial out of her jealousy. Sasaki would then with two possibilities. A. Sasaki would try to calm Haruhi down instead of Kyon revealing their relationship and their godlike power. Haruhi would realized what she have done and Sasaki would release her closed space which is a white void allowing Koizumi to take out the celestial. Maybe then Sasaki would come back to the Brigade as a veteran and train Haruhi to control her godlike powers. Although there will be sibling rivalries over Kyon. B. Sasaki would let Kyon Like usual what he does calms down Haruhi, Then in the end, Sasaki tells Kyon take care of Haruhi until the day they will meet each other and be reunited. And second Sasaki early told Kyon that she can't exist in a clue that it's possible she and Haruhi's godlike powers are a curse meaning that if they merged their closed space one of them will cease to exist as a result in the combined timeline Sasaki ceased to exist. I hope
5. And least not forget that their parents were the real gods. Sasaki and Haruhi's parents were the ones who caused the timeline to split into two Timeline Alpha and Beta as a result of their divorce causing Sasaki and Haruhi to be separated.
I would pick possibility A.

Hateful Eight Producer wants Fair Use repealed
It goes to show that corporate luddites want fair use repealed implying that universities and public libraries should pay royalty to use their material in research or commentary which no one could afford to. And if the federal district judge ruled that the Happy Birthday song is copyrighted, you can hear Robin from Teen Titans Go! say that the Birthday Song is too expensive.
Torrent Freak reports that Hateful Eight Producer, Richard Gladstein, says fair use is a smokescreen for piracy, And all because of the Dancing Baby ruling by a Federal District judge which was declared as fair use.
Corporate Luddites, MPAA and Author's guild wants to kill the internet and save the movie theater industry.
Unfortunately, they're like the Grinch who tried to stop Christmas. And another thing public comments on reviewing the DMCA which like in the last post paving the way to kill fair use.

2016 this new year is getting ugly on the TPP and Japan's revisionism
One month left until Obama signs the TPP on February 4th.
Even if Congress does not ratifies TPP, it will go into full force in 2018 because the last section in the TPP clearly states it must have 6 ratifications by that time.
And Japan is getting close to revise General MacArthur's post war constitution going back to the pre-WWII days were Japanese women have no rights, japanese wives were confined to their homes as their husbands go off to die for the emperor. I understand that Emperor and the imperial royal family should've been killed, but it would make it worse, Emperor was reduced to become a symbol of the state.
Opposition parties are just nowhere having alternatives. And even if Prime Minister Abe gets supermajority in both houses of the Diet. It will be almost difficult to get a majority of the Japanese population to approve it The Far-right Liberal Democratic Party are just as Nazi Germany was when it was an ally in the Axis Powers even though the Germans apologized for the atrocities they committed.
